My Bio
I was born in Germany and raised in New Jersey, now I reside in the beautiful mountains of Virginia. I always loved to draw and I truly love to create with my hands. Taking something so simple such as a plank of wood and create a design, or some yarn and string to make a blanket. Even some wire and stone to make an elegant piece of jewelry.
With a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, I am becoming unable to do some of the things that I used to love. It will not hold me down however. My creativity is always flowing, I live for the moment and take one day at a time.

When It all Started

During the 70's and 80's is when I initially had started with pyrography. I still have a couple of my early pieces and looking back at them I believe they were fairly good for just starting out. Life had taken me on a different journey and I put the wood burning tool away and left it alone for about 20 years.
I finally picked it up again in the year of 2007. It was like starting all over again. Since then, I have put it down and picked it back up, but I have found it is like riding a bicycle you never really forget.
